TESTING

The Technical and Test Institute for Construction Prague (TZÚS Praha, s.p.) has its own accredited testing laboratories, which can be found in its regional offices. The range of test methods follows the scope of activities performed by the certification bodies. Results presented by the laboratories are primarily used as a basis for product certification, but they can also serve as tests certifying only certain features of the products in a non-accredited mode. The scope of accreditation is particularly focused on the construction sector, which is complemented with services performed by the České Budějovice Branch Office – Testing Institute for Light Industry (ZÚLP ČB), especially in the field of toys, light industry products and chemical analyses, i.e., not only in the construction industry. Special services include services provided by the acoustic laboratory and special polygon for transport infrastructure product testing.
