However a new strategy being rolled out in 2017 is hoping to secure the limited company as a preferred supplier for both businesses and consumers looking to source ‘best in class’ products and brands not typically distributed in the United Kingdom, if at all online.
Whilst the company is unrecognisable from its humble beginnings as a tapes and adhesives converter in 1977, it aims to keep the superior product quality and service delivery ‘spirit’ very much alive in this new project.
Valdamark Direct Operations Manager Louise Holland said –
“The best thing about Valdamark Direct is that we only distribute products we have experience of using ourselves in our own manufacturing facility. This means not only can we deliver the best prices online but also the best guidance and expertise for the client to utilise”.
In the store there is a vast range of products that can be purchased through a very attractive e-commerce experience. Not only can these be purchased as single units and packaging details but also bulk quantities with the discounts clearly displayed for each individual product.
Existing brands like Shockwatch and Hawo appear in the range as well as new additions to the catalogue like Cooper Atkins and Corrosion X.
Louise goes on to say –
“ Shockwatch Labels and Hawo Heat Sealer machines have always featured in our range as ‘best in class’ products, but continuing this theme we have branched out agreeing distribution with premium US brand Cooper Atkins focusing on their infrared thermometer products.
Like this we also have on board Corrosion X distributing their sophisticated range of anti corrosion spray and rust treatment products”.
Valdamark Direct improves offer as a packaging resource in 2017
The project has been in development since 2013 with expertise coming from both Valdamark’s existing team as well as new talent from different markets and industries.
Valdamark Direct e-commerce executive Dev Mullion said –
“We hope to create an experience that is ‘easy on the eye’ for the client. Too many e-commerce websites and ordering portals are too much like hard work. We’ve gone to great lengths to build a platform that meets the client’s expectations and allows us to roll out our model as we grow”.
The site has seen considerable growth month on month since its launch at the beginning of 2015. Clients have praised the websites usability and practicality which has both been key drivers for the development team.
Dev continued –
“Take our foil bags for example, clients can purchase our market leading barrier foil in standard sizes for convenience and also in sensible quantities for use on projects of all sizes. We will also be having regular special offers and quantity discounts displayed on the site”.
"Its the same with Tip N Tell and Drop N Tell indicators, as well as our VCI bags. You can order as many or as few as you would like."
“Convenience and confidence are the focus for Valdamark Direct”
In addition to this they will also be launching a packaging news feed for 2015 which will cover activity from diverse areas in the industry and be updated daily.
