Omnitrack designed & patented our original high capacity 'endless track' range of ball transfer units in 1954. 60 years on & Omnitrack Ball Transfer Units continue to be UK manufactured and solve industry's most demanding applications worldwide.
Omnitrack ball transfer units offer 'frictionless' omni-directional movement with many fixing options & sizes. in addition to units we also assemble T-Bars and ball tables please call to discuss your requirements further.
High capacity ball transfer units
Practical design and exceptional endurance full parts back-up and a factory refurbishment option on most models -right back to 1954. MaterialOptions - Standard high grade carbon steel with zinc plated outer housing for corrosion resistance. 3 further material combinations for maximum resistance to different working conditions and environments: all Stainless Steel parts, 'Arduous Conditions' material, Stainless Steel Balls (AISI 420).
fittings available include push fit, thread stud, flange mounted, flange socket, washdown units, external spring loaded, housed spring loaded, flange socket spring loaded, flange mounted spring loaded, tolerance ring.
Medium duty ball transfer units
Medium duty units have been designed to withstand impact damage through misalignment of the conveyed item and also incorporate a resistance to shock loads applied to the main ball. Medium duty units have the internal hemispherical form machined directly into the solid steel base. All units with a main ball larger than 19mm are fitted with a felt seal to reduce dirt ingress.
Material Options - Case hardened carbon steel housing with zinc plated finish unless all stainless steel option (SS) is selected. Standard ball material is AISI 52100 other options are: Stainless Steel parts Balls and housing material AISI 420, Acetal (POM) main ball. Other component zinc plated steel, Stainless Steel Balls (AISI 420). Other component zinc plated steel. Fittings include push fit, plain fitting, bottom flange, internal thread fixing, medium spring housed, o ring fitting, top flange, bolt fitting, washdown ball units.
Light duty ball transfer units
Pressed light duty steel range of transfer units are ideal for ball 'up' use in light duty material handling applications. Except for 'LP' range, the internal hemispherical cup is heat treated for resistance to wear. Material Options - Standard high grade carbon steel with zinc plated outer housing for corrosion resistance. 3 further material combinations for maximum resistance to different working conditions and environments: all parts made from Stainless Steel, balls in Stainless Steel with zinc - plated pressings, main ball in Acetal (POM) with zinc plated pressings. Fittings include clip, Saturn type, flange mounted 2 & 4 hole, cased spring loaded, plastic units.
Washdown ball transfer units
High capacity & medium duty ball transfer units with drain hole systems allowing rapid dispersal of fluid through the base. Our washdown drain hole system ball units are used in many applications including areospace and manufacturing.
Omnifloat Ball Castors allow smooth, safe conveying and directional changes for sheet materials whilst protecting delicate or polished surfaces.
