Gears are ground on state of the art CNC REISHAUER gear grinding machines, these include REISHAUER RZ 301 AS and the very latest RZ 362A. These machines are capable of gear grinding production quantities to DIN 4 standard on a consistent basis. CNC GEAR CUTTING

Renown leads the field in carbide hobbing on a LIEBHERR LC282 gear hobbing machine. This is a heavy duty CNC controlled machine with hydraulic clamping and an automatic loading system. This machine is in addition to the 2 CNC PFAUTER gear bobbing machines, and further enhances an already impressive gear cutting section.

State of the art technology in gear metrology, A4 plotted graphs of profile, lead, adjacent pitch, cumulative pitch and total runout ensure that the standard criteria are met. These machines are also available for Sub-Contract gear inspection.
